Facial Exercises For Lip Lines – This Tip Is Almost Too Easy

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

Did you know that women develop upper lip lines faster than men? According to a report posted in the 2009 issue of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, medical professionals in the Netherlands discovered that women seem to have a smaller amount sebaceous (oil producing) glands around the upper lip region as compared to men. A smaller amount oil means that the area dries out quicker and show age considerably faster.

Scientists also discovered that women have less blood vessels within the upper lip area leaving this area with much less blood circulation which can also cause the skin to wrinkle faster.

And, to make matters worse, the muscle tissue in upper lip region of women seem to be closer to the skin meaning the skin is pulled tighter resulting in more wrinkle formation.

So what can you do? Well, for temporary instant results you should use a lifting serum that contains stem cells and Seasflash in order to help hydrate, plump up as well as lift the skin.

Another thing that you can do to actually get rid of wrinkles and stop them from getting even worse is facial exercises for lip lines….and for the whole face. Might as well address the rest of your face, since everything will start to show grow older eventually…..even the turkey neck and double chin will respond to facial workouts. You may also do facial exercises to help maintain results if you’ve already had plastic surgery. Simply because we all know that plastic surgery results do not last forever.

Last but not least don’t forget that good sense and a healthy way of life can also be essential at maintaining your skin young and keep it elastic. You know those good sense tips all of us learn about like..use a sunscreen, stop smoking, consume a good dose of fruits as well as vegetables, get your antioxidants as well as use a quality moisturizer – particularly on those trouble places like crow’s feet and upper lip wrinkles.

When you first start exercising, you see an immediate lift of tightening of the area you worked on..such as when you perform your cheek muscle exercise for higher cheek bones. This lift will at first last a few minutes. Then a few hours..eventually it will likely be a permanent lift and as long you do your facial exercises 3 times a week for about 15 minutes a day, this particular lift as well as tightening effect will continue to improve. It is liberating to know that I can manage the aging process of my face as I get older!

What Causes Boils – How To Treat a Boil

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

What is a Boil? It’s a local infection that looks like a pimple with a white center filled with pus, which is a combination of white blood cell, protein, and infectious bacteria.

Treating boils can be difficult because they are contagious and can spread very easily to other parts of the body. Plus, they can become infected and then you’ll need antibiotics to treat it.

What Causes Boils – There are many causes of boils, however, the most common causes include: – A clogged sweat gland or ingrown hair – A splinter lodged just under the skin – A cut or scrap that has become infected

Boil Symptoms

Boils can form on areas of the body where the clothes rub against the skin or body parts rub against each other – like in the groin, underarm, inner thighs, and buttocks. Boils look like a raised red pimple with a white/yellow center. After a while the boil will become hard and sensitive to the touch. It can also become itchy and painful too. Click here to see Pictures of Boils.

Natural Home Remedies Boils

Treating a boil right away is important before complications set in or before it spreads to other parts of the skin causing more boils to form. Also, once they become infected treatment is even harder. There are some natural remedies you can try using ingredients from your own kitchen like – a garlic or turmeric compress.

To make the garlic compresses just crush the juice from one garlic clove with a garlic crusher, apply the juice to the boil head and cover with a band-aid. Or mix a small amount of turmeric powder with water to make a paste and gently dap it ont the boil and cover it with a band-aid. Leave the compresses on until the boil becomes soft and can be wiped away with a wash cloth.

Boil Treatment

If the natural treatments listed above don’t help you, consider an effective homeopathic spray that is easy, non-messy and starts to work in as little as 24 hours.Click here for more information on a simple Treatment For Boils.

The August 2009 issue of Marie Claire magazine reports that celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have used the derma roller to increase collagen and reduce acne scars. The Derma Roller also helps to reduce stretch marks, fill in wrinkles, scars and smooth uneven, pitted skin. It pretty much helps all skin conditions/problems that result from a lack of collagen. A regular Derma Roller facial performed in the convenience of your own home can increase collagen production and help the skin repair and renew itself. Very important for people over 35 years of age.

How does the work? The Derma Roller performs collagen induction therapy. This means it helps to encourages the skin to produce collagen and elastin – increasing levels within the skin. By rolling the skin roller over the skin four times in each direction, you create tiny openings in the upper layer of the dermis which causes a healing process to begin collagen production to start. This production continues for hours after a rolling session. Over time, you can build healthy skin firmer skin.

Other benefits of the derma roller include:

-Increase absorption of your favorite anti-aging skin cream
-Helps to stimulate blood flow to the skin
-Opens clogged pores
-Exfoliates dead skin cells
-Removes old collagen and stimulates new collagen growth
-Can be used anytime in your own home at your convenience for just pennies each time
-Cost effective. A full face medical needling session can cost up to $600.00 to $1,000
-The Derma Roller can be used on all areas including face, neck, body, and scalp for hair loss
-Concept of skin needling is scientifically proven and based on thousands of years of acupuncture technology.
-Does not cause skin damage

What’s The Best Derma Roller That Really Works? Skin needling at home is easy if you have the right roller. Click here for more information on choosing the right FDA Approved Derma Roller.
