Captique: Hyaluronic Acid Filler


  

Another Hyaluronic acid injectable filler recently on the market is Captique. Similar to other Hyaluronic acid injections Captique works to improve fine to deep lines and wrinkles around the lip, nose and eye area.

Captique (like other Hyaluronic Acid filler injections) works by binding the body’s water to increase the support system just under the skin, stretching the dermis and giving the skin a plump, full look.

Allergy tests before treatment are not necessary. Captique is a gel whose main ingredient is NASHA (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic acid).

Captique injections will be almost identical to the other Hyaluronic acid fillers (Restylane, Juvaderm). A consultation and medical history will be taken by the medical provider and the treatment area will be defined. Patients will then be informed of any medications that could cause complications with the injection process. If there are concerns, patients will be advised to forgo use until the treatment is finished.
